Eunique - International Exhibition of Applied Arts and Design

For a second year Maggie's work has been selected with more than 350 top exhibitors from all over Europe as well as Korea, India and Japan. EUNIQUE 2011 is now considered to be the leading trade fair for applied arts and design in Europe.

Maggie will be launching the new NEMH Linen collection and the fabulous Kimono jackets and she has also been invited to exhibit her signature Wall piece, "Wedding Day" as part of the "Crafts of Europe" exhibition.

Recording the Arts

Maggie and all the other artists who have been awarded a bursary from the shape of things will be discussing their work and the philosophy of their work.

Recording the Crafts is based at the School of Creative Arts at the University of the West of England, Bristol and gathers materials which will act as a resource for those researching the nature of the crafts. These materials are usually in the form of digital video and sound recordings of people who have been intimately associated with the development of the crafts in Britain.

Contemporary Textiles Fair - Landmark Arts Centre

Flow Gallery - the shape of things

Maggie will be presenting a series of wall mounted narratives. Each piece, hand felted, stitched and embellished, explores the space where craft and fine art overlap.

Flow Gallery is taking part in the shape of things, an exciting national project that seeks to explore the unique contribution artists make to influence or reflect national identity and the intercultural nature of British society.

Exhibitions 2010 - 2012

Maggie has been awarded an artist’s bursary award from the shape of things, an ambitious and exciting national artists exhibition and venue development initiative for contemporary crafts taking place over the next three years.

The shape of things is creating an opportunity and context for considering and debating what distinctive contribution artists make to influence or reflect national identity, to connect Britain with global cultures and to reference the intercultural nature of British society.

Flow Gallery in London will be hosting exhibitions for the shape of things in partnership with the Crafts Study Centre in Farnham.
